Cookie Policy

Only what keeps you signed in. Nothing that follows you.

Last updated: 28 July 2026

This policy explains the cookies The Cipher uses. The short version: we use only what is essential to run the service and keep you signed in. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work; others are used for analytics or advertising. We use only the essential kind.

What we use

  • Session / authentication — a secure cookie that keeps you signed in to your CIPHERSPACE. Without it, you could not stay logged in.
  • Basic security — cookies that protect the sign-in process.

These are strictly necessary, so they do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules.

What we do not use

No advertising cookies. No cross-site or behavioural tracking. No third-party analytics that profile you. Your reading and your activity stay yours.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in and use your CIPHERSPACE.

Changes

If we ever introduce new cookies, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
