The Reader
Alma · Founder & Practitioner
I work at the intersection of structure, form, and human decision-making.
Background
My background is in design and systems — pattern making and fashion design, technical and protective textiles, product development, international business and finance — much of it in highly structured, regulated environments where precision and clear responsibility were not optional.
Observation
Across these years, and across many countries, I kept noticing the same thing: beneath every decision runs a pattern. The Cipher came from years of direct observation — of myself, and of the field — a way to make the patterns behind choice, behaviour, and direction visible, especially in moments of transition.
The distinction
- Individual
- Cultural
- Systemic
Working across cultures sharpened the distinction I rely on most: telling an individual pattern from a cultural one, and a cultural one from a systemic one.
I read informational data the way I read a garment — for its structure, not for my projection onto it.
The practice
- 01Observe
- 02Translate
- 03Return
My work is observational, not therapeutic. I don't intervene, diagnose or advise. I translate what's there, and hand it back.
